I couldn’t Cross The Line…But Romero Did

Attending the SOA/WHINSEC protest to end the perpetuating teaching of violence and torture all over the world was something I avoided. This is, indeed, a place were nothing is hidden and everything is brought to light –especially the atrocities committed by the US Army and foreign militaries – yet for the protesters who go there every year, it is often experienced as a sort of a renewed commitment to solidarity.
