They were eager to know all about the different animals that we encountered along the path, making an effort to remember each one’s name by repeating it after their teacher would say it, while others tried to climb on the fences to get a better look. Even the littlest ones were very alert and especially fascinated to see the monkeys eating broccoli. One of them shouted, “Monkeys eat vegetables too!” Maybe this will be a new motivation for them to eat the vegetables served to them at the center (and hopefully in their homes as well). Even the green ones!
