They both became involved in the Women’s Empowerment Project after hearing about it through the Child Development Center. Karen’s daughter, Veronica, currently attends 4 year old pre-school at the center and Glendy’s son graduated from there last year.
Karen is very prudent with her earnings as she tries to save up to make her dreams possible. She keeps a clean, tidy home with her husband and daughter and careful records of her expenses. She was most recently excited to participate in the medical check-ups Programa Velasco was able to offer to the women in the project this year as a result of supporters like you! Karen is a hard-working woman who we are glad to support!
