Her mom, Ana Ruth, is 29 years old. She works as a secretary, but makes a little less than minimum wage. She needed to apply for a scholarship from Programa Velasco because of the economic difficulties that come with being a single mother and earning such a limited income. We are excited to see Sofia thriving this year at the Center! It wouldn’t be possible to sponsor her without your generosity!
